VA Employee Badges
Share PrintOur existing identification tools, such as the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card, are hard to read and do not provide all the information that patients and caregivers need. Making sure a Veteran is well-oriented to their new surroundings can provide the foundation for an easier, less stressful inpatient stay or outpatient visit. VA Employee Badges can clear up all of this confusion while helping ensure that patients get easy and effective care.

Making certain our new and existing Veteran patients are well-oriented to their surroundings can provide the foundation for an easier, less stressful inpatient stay or outpatient visit. PX Employee Badges embody the Guiding Principles of Own the Moment:
- Connect & Care: Badges foster meaningful introductions by telling the Veteran who we are and what our role is.
- Understand & Respond to Needs: The Veteran wants to know, “Who are you?” and “What do you do?”. These badges have been carefully designed to answer these questions at a glance.
- Guide the Journey: Badges orient the Veteran to the most important part of our healthcare system: you! See more
